Maisie's Green Brae in Tega Cay - More than a Restaurant

Every now and then, a new restaurant opens that feels like it's always belonged. That's exactly how we felt after visiting Maisie's Green Brae.

About halfway through dinner, I looked at my husband and asked, "When are we coming back?" Safe to say, Maisie's Green Brae delivered.

A Place That Invites You to Stay

Their motto says it perfectly: Sit. Stay. Supper.

Maisie's Green Brae isn't just a place to grab dinner it's a place to settle in. Whether you're enjoying a meal with family, meeting friends for drinks at the bar, rocking in the chairs outside, or relaxing on one of the cozy couches, there's a spot that fits your mood.

The outdoor spaces are one of the highlights, creating the warm kind of atmosphere where you naturally want to stay a little longer.

Comfort Food with Something for Everyone

We definitely went for the hearty side of the menu (no regrets), but I've already decided what I'm ordering next time.

The Kale & Leafy Greens Salad.

If you've ever left a restaurant already planning your next meal there, you know that's a good sign.

The menu offers a great mix of Southern-inspired comfort food, burgers, sandwiches, fresh salads, seafood, and steaks, making it an easy choice whether you're celebrating, grabbing a casual weeknight dinner, or meeting up after a day on Lake Wylie.

Don't Leave the Dog at Home

One of our favorite features? The fenced-in dog area.

Maisie's makes it easy to bring your four-legged family member along, making it one of the most dog-friendly dining spots around Tega Cay. For a community that loves its pups, it's such a thoughtful addition.

Already Investing in the Community

One of the things we love most about Maisie's Green Brae is that they're already becoming part of the Tega Cay community.

Even though they've only recently opened, they've already hosted outdoor movie nights, partnered with Vibe Pilates for community events, and continue to add live music and other gatherings to their calendar.

It's refreshing to see a new business jump right in and create opportunities for neighbors to connect—not just over great food, but through shared experiences.

That's exactly the kind of place we love to support.

Our Take

Maisie's Green Brae feels like more than just another new restaurant.

It's a place where you can enjoy dinner, meet friends for a drink, listen to live music, bring the dog, or simply spend a relaxing evening outdoors. It already feels like the kind of neighborhood gathering place Tega Cay has been waiting for.

If you haven't visited yet, we'd definitely recommend adding it to your list—and be sure to check their events calendar before you go. Between live music, community events, and seasonal gatherings, there's always something happening.

We'll definitely be back. And yes... that kale salad is next on the list. 🌿
