One of our favorite things about living in Tega Cay is seeing businesses embrace the community while bringing something new to the city. That's exactly what we found during our recent visit to The Garrison at Tega Cay.

If you've ever visited the Pineville location, you'll be happy to know that The Garrison has brought the same welcoming atmosphere, elevated food, and thoughtful hospitality to Tega Cay. At the same time, they've incorporated local touches throughout the restaurant that make it feel right at home in our community, and added amazing pizza options (If you’ve visited Margaux's Wine, Pizza & Market, you’ll understand why this is such a win for Tega Cay.)

From the décor to the overall vibe, there are subtle nods to TC that made us smile. It doesn't feel like a restaurant that simply expanded to a second location. It feels like a restaurant that genuinely wanted to become part of the neighborhood.

Bringing the family for dinner? There are plenty of menu options that everyone can enjoy.

Even your pickiest eaters will likely find something they love, especially from the pizza menu. It's the kind of restaurant where couples, families, and groups of friends can all feel equally comfortable.

The Pink Smoke

Made with mezcal, Aperol, lime, and rosemary syrup, this cocktail offered a perfect balance of smoky, citrusy, and herbal flavors. It was lightly smoky and refreshing without being overpowering.

The Molokai Margarita

Featuring Gran Gala Reposado, agave, lime, and a salt rim, this margarita was smooth, balanced, and incredibly easy to drink. If you're a margarita fan, this one is worth ordering.

Tuna Poke Nachos

This appetizer was one of our favorites. Sushi-grade tuna paired with sweet chili soy, avocado, sriracha aioli, and crispy corn tortilla chips created a dish that was fresh, flavorful, and hard to stop eating.

The Garrison Burger

Topped with applewood bacon, a fried egg, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and burger sauce on a brioche bun, this burger delivered exactly what you'd hope for. Juicy, messy, and packed with flavor.

Connecticut-Style Lobster Roll

Served hot with sweet lobster, celery, and butter on a New England-style roll, this lobster roll was simple in the best possible way. The quality of the lobster really shines through.

The space is operated by Devanney Hospitality Group, whose philosophy centers around bringing people together through thoughtful hospitality and memorable experiences.

Their event spaces feature flexible layouts that can accommodate both intimate celebrations and larger gatherings.

As our community continues to grow, having a local venue that can host both personal and professional events is a welcome addition.

The Story Behind The Garrison

The Garrison at Tega Cay opened in 2026 with a simple mission: create a welcoming place where everyone feels comfortable, valued, and at home.

Owner Kevin Devanney began his restaurant journey in 2020 with the opening of Margaux's Wine, Pizza & Market. His focus on quality food, genuine service, and community connection quickly resonated with guests.

That vision expanded in 2022 with the opening of The Garrison in Pineville, where the concept continued to grow around consistency, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Now, that same philosophy has arrived in Tega Cay.
