Tega Cay’s favorite tradition is back and bigger than ever! Get ready for two full days of star-spangled celebration as our lakeside city rolls out the red, white, and blue carpet for the U.S. OF CAY: Where Eagles Soar! This year’s Fourth of July festivities will span Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5, 2025, with a packed schedule of parades, fireworks, live music, and family-friendly fun.

Friday, July 4: All-American Spirit All Day Long
9:00 AM – Land Parade “Where Eagles Soar”
Start your day with one of the most beloved Tega Cay traditions—the annual Land Parade! Kicking off at City Hall (7725 Tega Cay Drive), this year’s eagle-themed celebration promises creative floats, classic cars, local groups, and plenty of candy for the kids.
4:30 PM – Lions Fish Fry at the Glennon Center
It’s not the 4th without fried fish in Tega Cay! Head to the Glennon Center (15083 Molokai Drive) for the iconic Lions Fish Fry with live music from Queen City Swing.
6:00 PM – Mayor’s State of the City Address + City Birthday Cake
Stick around the Glennon Center to hear Mayor Chris Gray reflect on our community’s growth and future. Bonus: There will be city birthday cake for all!
9:00 PM – Fireworks Over the Golf Course
Cap off the night with a showstopping fireworks display launched from the Tega Cay Golf Course. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and watch the sky sparkle red, white, and blue.
Saturday, July 5: Lake Life + Live Music
11:00 AM – Flotilla Boat Parade
Deck your boat in stars and stripes and join the Flotilla Parade from Nivens Landing to Windjammer Park (8999 Windjammer Drive). It’s a floating celebration of freedom—one of the most unique events on Lake Wylie!
11:15 AM – Freedom Fun Run Paddle Board Race
Presented by the Goat Boater, the Freedom Fun Run Paddle Board Competition is open to all levels. Whether you paddle for fun or for glory, it's a great way to get on the water and into the spirit.
12:00 PM – Carolina Ski Show
Also at Windjammer, the talented Carolina Show Ski Team presents a patriotic, high-energy water show: “Salute to the US of A.” Don’t miss this thrilling mix of acrobatics and artistry on the lake.
6:30 PM – Uncle Sam Jam at Runde Park
The party wraps up with an all-ages concert featuring Dixie Diamonds at Runde Park (5116 Windward Drive). Bring your friends, grab a bite from local food vendors, and dance the night away as the sun sets on an unforgettable weekend.
